I hope they call me on a mission!

We bought a new white shirt for Paul to wear to church and he looked like such a little missionary that we made a badge for him and took some pics. Here are the missionary boys. :)

For my 25th bday, we had a toilet paper diva contest. Here are the pics.

Funny Boy

So, Paul is the funniest kid in the world. Here are a few things he has done:

1. He tried to ride his toy dinosaur.
2. He "helped" me make cookies just so he could get his paws on one.
3. He climbed in the dryer before I could get the laundry in.

We sure love our little stinker.

Mosiah 3:19-20

19 For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.

20 And moreover, I say unto you, that the time shall come when the knowledge of a Savior shall spread throughout every nation, kindred, tongue, and people.

You may not think of this as being a Christmas scripture, but when you put it in context, it really is. We really are better throughout the year and all our lives when we become a child in spirit. We should strive to have all the attributes spoken of in Mosiah throughout the year and especially at Christmas when a knowledge and remembrance of the Savior permeates every nation and fills nearly every heart. This season, take on all the qualities of a child and help spread the knowledge of the Savior in your own homes and with all your friends and family.

Winter Storm

Well, we finally got all the snow the weatherman has been talking about for the last week. Here it is.

Welcome December!

Today was the fist real snow of the season. It snowed all night last night and stuck all day today. Altogether today we got about 4 inches. Paul had a blast playing in it. He was too little to play in it last year and he couldn't walk yet, so this was lots of fun. I bundled him all up until he couldn't put his arms down, then let him go. He rolled, stomped, kicked, patted, and slipped in the snow. He even scooped some up and had a taste. Pretty much snow just tastes cold. We were so happy to start the month off with snow. Now we just have to wait to see if we get a white Christmas.
